The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), Thailand’s national telecommunications regulator, has launched a formal public consultation for the New and Revised Draft Technical Standards covering radar equipment and 57-64 GHz short-range radio devices. The draft standards update transmission power limits, frequency usage rules and core technical requirements for radar and 60 GHz wireless equipment, aligning with international standards and supporting the development of automotive radar and IoT technologies. Stakeholders may submit written comments on the draft standards until July 3, 2026.
