Brazil｜ANATEL Changes the 6 GHz Wi-Fi Frequency Band Range
ANATEL published Act No.10.400/2026 reducing the Wi-Fi-available 6GHz frequency range from 1200MHz to 500MHz (5925–6425MHz only), reserving 6425–7125MHz for IMT/mobile services. Compliance becomes mandatory from March 1, 2027.

Thailand｜NBTC Accepts ETSI EN 301 893 for WLAN 5.8GHz Certification
Thailand's NBTC updated its certification policy for WLAN 5.8GHz equipment, accepting ETSI EN 301 893 (v2.2.1+) test reports for SDoC, Class A and Class B certificates issued from August 2026 onwards, a standard previously excluded.
