China｜2026 CCC Certification Standard Update Compliance Summary

CNCA issued a series of updated CCC certification regulations in 2026, mainly optimizing compliance standards for lithium batteries, power banks and consumer products. According to Announcement No.7 of 2026, GB 47372-2026, the mandatory safety specification for power banks, is officially adopted as the certification basis for power bank products (0914) and dedicated power bank lithium batteries (0916), matching the updated implementation rule CNCA-C09-02:2026. Enterprises can apply with either old or new standards before March 31, 2027, while only new standards will be accepted after April 1, 2027. Power bank manufacturers must complete supplementary testing and certificate upgrade before the deadline to avoid certificate suspension or revocation. Portable lithium batteries adopt natural transition, while dedicated power bank batteries require independent certification with differentiated model numbers. In addition, CNCA revised CCC rules for electric bicycles, children’s vehicles and toys. Dual rules are valid until October 31, 2026, and updated regulations take full effect on November 1, 2026. Existing valid certificates remain effective and can be upgraded naturally during product modification or renewal.
