Saudi Arabia - Replace standard CST GEN-002 by SASO 3114:2026

Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) issued SASO 3114:2026 for ICT communication equipment, replacing the former CST GEN-002 specification. The transition grace period closes on October 31, 2026. After November 1, 2026, new certificates based on CST GEN-002 will no longer be issued. All original GEN-002 certificates will expire on March 31, 2027. Mobile phones, routers and other ICT products exported to Saudi Arabia shall comply with SASO 3114:2026 after the transition deadline.
