Paraguay｜CONATEL Updates National Frequency Plan

Paraguay's National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL) approved amendments to the National Frequency Allocation Plan (PNAF), which has been officially renamed the National Frequency Plan (PNF). This regulatory update was formalized through RESOLUCIÓN DIRECTORIO N° 1232/2026, issued on June 3, 2026. The amendments aim to align Paraguay's telecommunications framework with strategic objectives, including promoting regulatory efficiency in the sector and ensuring continuity with international ITU/WRC obligations. The new frequency allocation entered into force following its publication in the official gazette from July 6, 2026.
